    No Impact At Coachella

We know we still got some work to do, but check out what’s new in 2019. We’re launching some new initiatives this year to help minimize the amount of waste sent to the landfill during and post festival.

      #RecyclingSunday

While we want you to recycle every day, we’re dubbing Sunday as our official day to sort and collect recyclables in the campgrounds. How does it work? Easy.

We’ll be coming around every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning to pass out blue compostable waste liners.  All you have to do is sort your recycling (bottles, plastic cups, cans, and cartons) and either leave your recycling bags in front of your camping spot every day before 2pm for us to pick up or you can bring your recycling bags to the Global Inheritance booth on Sunday from 9am to 2pm for the chance to win an exclusive prize.

    • Coachella Waste Gang

      Coachella Waste Gang

Got questions on how to recycle and compost during the festival? Don’t be shy, come say hi to our Waste Gang.

The Coachella Waste Gang is a team of dedicated people who know the ins and outs of recycling and composting. They’ll be walking around during the festival and at the campgrounds to help show you how to properly dispose of your waste. They’ll also be working around the clock in the back-of-house area to help ensure your recycling and compost are sorted properly and sent to the right place.

Interested in being part of the team next year? Hit us up with “Coachella Waste Gang” in the subject line.

    • Waste Bins

      Waste Bins

Ever stand in front of a waste bin trying to figure out if your waste goes in the recycling or compost stream? Yah, us too…Don’t’ fret, we refurbished about 400 of our wooden waste enclosures to make things a little easier.

What’s so special about these enclosures? They’re strictly designed for your recyclable and compostable items.

If you’re not sure what goes where, toss your waste in one of our white cardboard waste bins to avoid contaminating the recycling and compost stream.

    • Serviceware

      Serviceware

Check it out, almost all the serviceware we provide is compostable. See below for a full list of what you can toss in our white wooden waste enclosures located inside the festival and at the main camping hub.
